Diamond Dust - blind buy

This is without a doubt the most ambitious, elaborate and varied art edition I've created in my 20 year career as a professional artist. The entire edition is printed on the SwissQ printer. If you haven't heard of it might be because there are only 2 in the continental US. The SwissQ gave me the heavy spot varnish I was looking for, giving the art an almost sculptural quality. The colors are saturated and rich allowing for many interesting textures and points of interest. A diamond pattern was first printed in white ink and is seen subtlety throughout the image. The art is absolutely stunning in person.

Multiples are ok.

This is a blind buy. You will get a random color way. It may be the main edition printed on white lava foil paper or a red mirrored paper or even black mirrored rainbow paper stock. Every edition is interesting in their own way and none are printed on standard white paper stock. You will like what you get. Trading with people in the poster community is encouraged. If you buy multiples I will try and insure you get different paper colors for each one.

I chose to draw Marilyn after watching the 'Blonde' film on Netflix. Every person contains multitudes and I've found MM to be more of a chameleon than I initially thought. The title "Diamond Dust" refers to a kind of glitter Andy Warhol used in his silkscreens. There's something about the infinite nature of a diamond combined with the finite nature of dust that struck a chord with me. I'd encourage every artist to reinterpret Marilyn Monroe if given the chance.

I would love to see where these end up framed so please tag me on any social media platforms to show where the art ends up.
