Blue - Dave Matthews Band - Gorge

A version of this art was initially slated to be used for the band's New Jersey show due to the state's rich history of equestrian pursuits. The band's art director Matt called an audible and wisely pointed out that Washington has an iconic wild horse sculpture that's associated with the venue. We then decided the art was best suited for the band's epic weekend in the Pacific Northwest. My focus was to capture the movement from the wind blowing through the horses manes and tails. I envisioned the feeling one might have running free alongside the Columbia River Gorge with swirling stars appearing as bursts of yellow set against a black and blue sky! This is the 4th DMB print I've done this year and I really appreciate all the love and comments you all have posted online. Thank you!
