Jack White 4
18 x 24 – 2 color silkscreen – edition of 205 - The lyrics on Jack's first solo album speak of fierce temptresses and doomed relationships. The woman on the Sydney print disguises herself as a peacock, a creature of beauty and intrigue. The center of the image forms a heart but that love will soon be turned upside down. On the Melbourne print we see Jack as one with a vulture. The heart has now turned into a spade symbolizing the conclusion and ending to the relationship. The spade card is often referred to as the "death card" but every death is marked with a new beginning.
