Walton Goggins’s face has a way of staying with you. There’s something about his features that makes me want to draw him. His portrayal of Uncle Baby Billy in The Righteous Gemstones not only makes me laugh, but the character also feels extremely familiar to me, having grown up in Texas and witnessed the rise of megachurches firsthand.

I took extra care with the printing and design, varnishing the stained-glass windows in a way that really makes them pop in person. I’ll try to upload some videos to social media that highlight just how luminous and radiant this kind of printing can be.

The entire edition is printed on the SwissQ printer. If you haven't heard of it might be because there are only 2 in the continental US. The SwissQ gave me the heavy spot varnish I was looking for, giving the art an almost sculptural quality. The colors are saturated and rich allowing for many interesting textures and points of interest. The art is absolutely stunning in person.
