Way back in January of this year I got an unexpected call from my friend Bioworkz. Dave Matthews management asked him if the two of us would be willing to collaborate on a gigposter. The idea is that Ben would draw some, I’d draw some and we’d pass the piece back and forth until our styles melded into one! We both wondered if something like this had been done before for a concert poster. I did some research and found a Rapture poster collaboration between Tara McPherson and Michael Motorcycle in the early 2000s that blew my mind. Attached are some of the sketches and beginning stages of the project for you all to see. It was important to me that we highlight the natural beauty of Colorado along with focusing on a familial vibe that I've felt at DMB shows. I think it's a pretty unique piece of art and I hope you all enjoy it!
