Ween - friendship weasels

The first time I saw Ween in the 90s, as a slack jawed kid from Austin, it was a sensory overload. The sights, the sounds and the smells are something I'll never forget. But what really stood out to me about the experience was the shared friendship on stage amongst the brothers Ween. I felt the warmth of a true brotherhood radiating from Mickey and Aaron. That warmth was reciprocated from the crowd that night and all throughout the next 34 times I would go on to see Ween. I started to refer to this art as the 'friendship weasels' pretty early on in the process for that reason. The art is carefully seasoned, peppered and glazed in glowing candy hues with numerous references to both the Chocolate and Cheese album and 1994; the year the record was released. Today is a good day to hug your friends and call your loved ones. Here's hoping we'd see each other again at a show.
